...im Mediamarkt gekauft, da dort direkt auch mit dem Cashback geworben worden (Aufsteller auf der Vitrine mit den Objektiven). Sony verweigert die Auszahlung, der Mediamarkt wäre kein Teilnehmer - Kundendienst schickt wiederholt nur Standardantwort ohne auch nur auf meinen Einwand einzugehen. Das ist Irreführung und schlechter Kundendienst !!!

Das Objektiv SEL90M28G habe ich mir gekauft um die natur nahe in Bildern festzuhalten. Es läst mit Blend 2.8 viel Licht zum Sensor meiner A7M3. Es hat zwei schibe Schalter, Erster die Optischen Stabilisierung, zweiter die Auto Focus Vorwahl Bereiche für eine schnellere Fokussierung. Der Clou ist die Einstellung AF /MF die wurde in den FOCUS Ring Integriert was ich sehr gerne Nutze wenn plötzlich Insekten ins Bild kommen. Ein leicht zu handhabendes Objektiv für die Makro Fotografie mit feinem Bokeh.

Sehr gutes Objektiv für den Preis. Das Objektiv wird auf jeden Fall den Leuten, die sich ein Autofokus im Makrobereich wünschen weiterempfohlen. Allerdings Design ist bisschen veraltet und konnte daran gearbeitet werden. Z.B die Umstellung von AF auf MF wird durch das Versieben des Fokusrades folgen. D.h. wenn man unwillkürlich da ran kommen würde, wird sich das Fokusmode auf manuell bzw. anders rum umstellen. Das Problem konnte beispielsweise mit einem Knopf fürs Fokusmode (wie z.B auf 24-70mm f2.8, oder 70-200mm f4 und f2.8) gelöst werden.

This was a recent purchase and one that I had put off for quite a few years, having used my 100-400mm or the 70-200mm Macro for close-up shots. I must say that I am glad that I purchased 90mm Macro ok, it has a bit of a steep learning curve, but that is part of the fun of having a hobby like this.Would I recommend it for sure 👌

Tack sharp and lovely to use

A very sharp lens with beautiful bokeh, a pleasing colour rendition and no significant aberrations - outstanding optical performance. The 90mm focal length allows for a decent stand off from a macro subject of around 30cm (close to the minimum focusing distance) to allow for any lighting solutions you might want and causes little disturbance to active subjects. A very nice focal length for general photography too and could easily substitute for my 70-200 in many circumstances. On my A6700, the focal length is effectively 135mm, which was a prime I liked very much in my film days. The sliding focusing ring is very clever and works well to switch between AF and MF in a natural way while shooting. AF is fast and quiet and on the A6700, very accurate with spot focus. MF can be a bit touchy for macro but camera movement or a focusing rack is generally easier anyway. The built-in stabilisation is very effective, allowing me to hand-hold when previously I would have needed a support. The lens is not small but handles very nicely and its performance is such that the compromise with portability is easy to make. Well made and marked, this is an obvious choice for anyone interested in great quality macro work.

Finally found a good example

In 2019, I bought two of these brand new which ended up being returned and eventually refunded when the dealer (and Sony) could not find one which was sharp across the entire width of the shot at portrait to landscape distances, even stopped down to f/8. In 2024 I decided to try again with a used lens being offered at a very good price by a main dealer; on testing, it proved to be perfect. And made in 2019! I'm an experienced lens tester and photo magazine technical editor since the mid-1970s so I know my stuff on this. I had been using the Sony SAL A-mount 100mm instead because I found that perfect though not as advanced an optical design. Replaced!

J'ai utilisé le Sony FE 90 mm F2.8 Macro G OSS pour des projets macro, packshot et vidéo, et je dois dire que sa qualité optique est impressionnante. Les images sont d'une netteté exceptionnelle dès la pleine ouverture, et les détails qu'il capture sont vraiment époustouflants. La distorsion est maitrisée, ce qui en fait un objectif idéal pour les prises de vue précises et professionnelles. Mention spéciale pour la bague AF/MF que je trouve ingénieuse. Cependant, j'ai rencontré des problèmes majeurs. L'autofocus est un vrai point faible : il a tendance à patiner, surtout en photographie macro ou en basse lumière. Cela peut devenir frustrant lorsqu'on essaie de capturer des moments ou des sujets exigeant une mise au point rapide et précise. De plus, le moteur de l'autofocus est tout sauf silencieux. En pleine utilisation, il émet un bruit mécanique assez marqué, qui peut gêner dans des environnements calmes ou en vidéo. Pour un objectif de cette gamme, je m'attendais à une performance beaucoup plus discrète. Bien que la qualité de construction soit robuste et professionnelle, le poids de l'objectif se fait sentir après de longues sessions, ce qui peut nuire au confort d'utilisation. Bien que cet objectif ait des atouts indéniables sur le plan optique, ses faiblesses, notamment son autofocus bruyant et hésitant, ainsi que son poids, méritent d'être corrigées. J'espère vraiment que Sony proposera bientôt une version modernisée pour répondre aux attentes des utilisateurs exigeants comme moi.

Vor ein paar Wochen gekauft und auf keinem Fall bereut! Das Objektiv ist wunderbar um in die Welt der Makrofotografie abzutauchen, um kleine Dinge ganz groß zum Vorschein zu bringen. Konnte es kaum erwarten in den Wald zu gehen und ausgiebig zu testen, war direkt begeistert von der Abbildungsleistung was das Objektiv kann. Hätte mir dieses Objektiv schon viel früher holen sollen!!!

WHAT A BEAST!!!! Beautiful crisp clear scenery shots, amazing low light focal capability and it's an easy to use/figure out lens all around. I heard many people complaining about the auto focus noise, but I have not experienced it myself. I find it to be quite silent personally. It is however finicky at times and I found myself using manual focus more often than not. The lens itself has got kind of a fixed distance zoom (if that makes any sense), so be aware of that. Example: The picture of my motorcycle, to get it all in frame was taken from about 30' away at night is very poor almost black lighting. Note that when your shooting close up, the slightest twist on manual focus is the distance between miles in comparison (see pic of dog). Its a touchy lense but I feel its well worth the lessons it teaches you. A delicate touch will make all the difference. My advice: Buy this lens & thank me later..... DO IT!

Ich wollte schon immer ein Makro um mir Zwischenringe und alles andere zu sparen. Ich komme vom A-mount und hatte ein wunderbares Minolta. Jetzt mit dem Sony bin ich happy. Es könnte zwar ein bißchen mehr als 1:1 sein, aber gut. Dafür custom button , autofokus etc.

even, the best proxy lens i ever tried ! i even been able to film a wasp making his clean-up in a such picture quality, colors et details ! i wouldn't had success this with another device ^^ i like especially the large ring that you can "pull" in a way to "MF" on your own way and "pull" again, AF is back, you have nothing else to do, this lens then is very reactiv et versatyl, you can also make some scene in a certain order of the things, it's really one of my favourite lens, thanks guyz to built it !!! :D

In the last 5 years I have grown to love macro photography. I came from another system with strong macro lens choices. I bought this to go with my A7RV specifically to play with the focus bracketing features and it has not disappointed. The lens feels very nice and the push/pull focus ring is brilliant! Optical steady shot, focus hold and range limiter are just some of the things that showed that Sony took Macro shooters seriously. There really isnt a more feature-loaded macro lens out there from anyone else.

Broken Product - No Support

My product appears to be defective. I tried contacting support, but the robots keep telling me that they will transfer me to an agent and hang up the phone. The chat bot does the same thing. The non-existent support is worse than the broken product. There isn't even an e-mail address to send a request to. Registering the product doesn't open any other support options.

Ich war vorher schon mit A-Mount mit der Ilca-77m2 und nem Minolta 100f2.8 unterwegs, diese Kombi machte schon echt gute Fotos. Nun aber mit einer ilce-7m3 und dem 90er Macro, bin ich echt begeistert! Es macht einfach tolle Bilder! Top der AF und die Bildstailisierung, klasse finde ich auch die Umschaltung von Af zu Mf. Top Anschaffung!

Great image quality and build. However, severe focus breathing and hunting when light is not the best. F/2.8 is of little value when you cannot obtain sharp focus when subject is not fully illuminated. It is a good value for the money when used within its limitations.

I’ve used this lens for several years now, photographing everything from product photography, wedding detail shots, to marco work and even portraits. I’ve shot with the best of the best for over 30 years and nothing beats the image quality of this lens. Add the optical image stabilization and manual/auto focus ring, and this is about as close to a perfect lens as you can get.

Favourite lens - lives on my camera body

Recently acquired the 90mm to compliment my 85mmGM and extend my capabilities from portraits into the world of macro level for up close detailed products and nature shots. This 90mm 2.8 has practically lived on my camera body and is lighter than my 85mmGM 1.4, which has also led to longer excursions out and about as its lighter weight on my A7R3 tahn my other lenses - those few grams make all the difference. The clutch mechanism for shifting between manual to auto focus is definitely an addition i favour, making things hands on and tactile. Stunning level of separation and compression at a macro level and sharp as a swords edge. Favourite lens. Which has me exploring macro in the winter months. My 200-600G and 85mm1.4 GM are practically hermetically sealed in storage at the moment as here in the UK the spring season has meant budding flowers and the awakening world of insects are very much my interest. A beautiful lens that truly changes a photographers perspective of the physical world, thoroughly recommend and you wont regret it! Pick one up and see things in a new way!

Az AF/MF váltási mód ezen az objektíven más, mint a többi Sony-n, pedig sokkal praktikusabb! Elég hosszú objektív nagy fókuszlégzéssel, de fényképezésre kiváló. Makro oldalon 1:1-ig megy el, ami jó, de van, hogy kevés és kellene 2:1, ami csak nagyon sok közgyűrűvel érhető el.

Das 90mm ist in vielerlei Hinsicht speziell. Man kann es für Makros benutzen, wie auch für Portraits und Landschaft (bedingt). Die Möglichkeit durch schieben des AF/MF Ring am Tubus mal schnell zwischen Af und MF zu wechseln gefällt mir sehr gut und nutze ich auch häufig. Den Fokus Hold Button habe ich mit dem Augen AF gekoppelt und kann somit blitzschnell auf die Augen fokusieren. Bildqualität und Schärfe sind genial und ab und zu nutze ich das 90mm auch für Panoramen, indem mehrere Bilder zusammengefügt werden. In Kombination mit der A7III oder A7IV mit Batteriebriff eineGelungene Kombination. Da fühlt man sich immer wie ein Profi und die Ergebnisse sind fantastisch.

I have several lenses, both Sony and non-Sony, primes and zooms, all of them pretty good, but this lens is in a class of its own. I read all the glowing reviews before I bought it and I now understand why almost all the reviews were so positive and full of praise. The lens is so good I use it, of course for macro, but for everything where a range of 90mm is suitable.

Parfait en macro photo et portrait

Objectif livré dans la traditionnelle boîte orange Sony, l'objectif est dans un étui de transport que j'aurais bien aimé retrouver dans le package de mon 70-350... Ce serait bien que Sony intègre ce type d'étui sur l'intégralité de ses optiques. L'objectif est compact et relativement léger, 2 commandes sur le côté gauche: une pour le stabilisateur, la seconde pour la plage de mise au point (0.28-50 cm, 0.50-infini et 0-infini). Cette commande est particulièrement utile en macro en limitant la plage de recherche de l'autofocus. Le stabilisateur fait merveille sur mes "vieux" NEX, on y trouve également la touche programmable Sony, le passage de l'AF à la mise au point manuelle se fait grâce à un mécanisme "à pompe" dont la mise en œuvre est immédiate et totalement indispensable en Macro. A noter également une échelle de distances gravées sur le fût de l'objectif couplée au rapport de grossissement permettant de préparer au mieux les prises de vues Macro. En ce qui concerne les qualités optiques de cet objectif et pour mes premiers essais, je l'ai utilisé avec deux boitiers d'âges très différents: un NEX 7 et un Alpha 6700. Les résultats sont superbes avec les deux boîtiers prouvant qu'une telle optique est parfaitement compatible avec d'anciens boîtiers... évidemment entre les qualités et capacités des deux boitiers, "y-a pas photo !" En macrophoto, l'optique offre une belle définition et un superbe piqué. Je n'ai pas constaté de pompage particulièrement pénible lors de la mise au point, il faut cependant comprendre qu'en macro, l'environnement peut perturber l'AF. Le passage immédiat d'AF à MF grâce au mécanisme à pompe de l'objectif permet de pallier cette difficulté. En mode portrait... que du bonheur, flou d'arrière-plan grâce à sa grande ouverture f2.8, beau bokeh... et focale (équivalent 135 mm en APS-C) bien adaptée à la photographie des enfants. Alors, pourquoi choisir cet objectif par rapport à d'autres optiques compatibles qui elles aussi ont des qualités optique et un piqué comparables: La mise au point interne: l'allongement de l'objectif lors de la mise au point est difficile à gérer en macrophotographie d'animaux (insectes...) La stabilisation: je possède plusieurs boîtiers Sony, tous n'ont tous un capteur stabilisé et cette optique donne des résultats superbes de mes vieux NEX à mon alpha 6700. "L'espoir" que je continuerai à profiter des améliorations Sony s'ils proposent des évolutions logicielles de ce bel objectif et de leurs boîtiers. Mes regrets: prix un peu élevé, et plus de flash annulaire chez Sony, même si je l'utilise relativement peu en macro.

Ich habe dieses Objektiv als Ersatz für mein defektes Tamr.... Leider ist das Objektiv nicht so scharf wie mein altes Tamr... (A-Mount) 90mm Makro. Auch die manuelle Scharfstellung ist stark gewöhnungsbedürftig und für meine Zwecke nicht wirklich optimal. Die Autofocus Funktion erfüllt meine Erwartungen-
