Excellent head unit

This unit has been excellent so far since I bought it 2 months ago. The screen is very responsive and great in sunlight with very little glare. The sound quality is just outstanding. Android auto works flawlessly, so far I can't find fault with this head unit.

Das Radio hat einen guten Empfang und einen guten Klang. In Verbindung mit einem Mobiltelefon auch eine gute Funktionalität. Einziger Nachteil: Die maximale Neigung des Bildschirms ist zu sehr begrenzt (max. 10° nach oben). Ist sicher abhängig vom jeweiligen Auto (Einbauort) - ich muss mich bücken um richtig darauf zu schauen.

Smart Headunit At A Good Price

Fitted to my Fiat Ducato based motorhome which had been supplied new without audio fitted. Really good features for the money and very customisable for screen position (suggest improvement here would be right/left tilt to favour driver). Android Auto and weblink was easy to set up, and the functionality is user friendly. The only issue I had was that the RC-SR1 steering wheel controls lead was not supplied with the product and I've found that I cannot source it in the UK as a service part. I am looking into a compatible alternative but I do think the lead should have been included given its likely low cost, considering the purchase price of the Sony XAV-AX8150. However very pleased with the headunit in general and looking forward to making use of its features for leisure journeys.

Great sounding radio

So I bought this to replace an alpine halo 9 as it's plagued with problems, this new unit is hands down a far superior model for sound, mic response and solid build quality. Well done Sony. The only things that drop it a star is the display could be a little brighter in the day time, head on it's fine but slightly dimmer at an angle, and the other thing is the HDMI input could be in the back. Would loved it to have wifi to do auto updates and wireless Android auto, but i know this would increase the price
