Sound Skips when connected to Sound bar

Hi,

 

I have a KDL-55hx853 and have it hooked up to my Samsung ht-e8200 sound bar. They are connected via a single hdmi cable as the TV has ARC support, however, the sound seems to skip when I try playing the audio from my TV through the sound bar. I know its not a problem with the soundbar as it seems to be working perfectly fine otherwise.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

 

PS - I have updated the software on both.

    Hi,

     

    i am somewhat confused as to why you have not used the sony plinth that comes with the tv, the sound from this is excellent and being OE is better than any aftermarket unit.

     

    i use the SUB551-S on my Bravia for general use but for movies i switch to full blown cinema set up.
