Hi,

I am trying to film a long time lapse with my camera, just to see what it turns out like, and whenever i leave it pointing at the sky the camera will persist in refocusing. Thus ruining the entire time lapse, it will continue to do this every few seconds untill the video is stopped. Even when idling it will keep focusing!

Any suggestions are welcome.

Have you tried adjusting the focus settings as detailed on page 48 of the manual:

http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/4176667121.pdf

With 'Center AF' and 'AF Lock' activated, you may find that this cuts down the amount of focusing going on.

Hi, thanks for the response but i am trying to do it in video mode. probably should of mentioned that.

Any other ideas?
