Recently bought this laptop.

Does the laptop have a protective platic film on the lid from new

It looks like it does but I do not want to pick at the case and cause damage.

Thanks for your help.

Colin.

    Hi Colin,

Every Vaio notebook I have purchased has had a protective film on the screen when delivered and it was very obvious – uneven surface and occasionally a few bubbles and from memory was very easy to remove.

If you can take and post a photo it may give us a better indication.

    Rich

I haven't seen any protective plate yet. Usually that's just to cover the LID when still not purchased. It's also not usually not perfectly laid out.

Can you gently remove it? If not, it should be a protective film. https://imagicon.info/cat/12-13/vmware_happy.gif
