I can say that both are actually Sony Bravia KDL40HX755. The difference might be where it has been made. Probably that the one came from US or UK, while the other from somewhere else.

You can simply print the PDF file you have so you could have a paperback copy. That would be less hassle.

Return it and have it replaced. That is the best option for me for this type of issue.

If it is possible to change the fan you have in your Vaio, that would be great. Sometimes, cleaning the fan saves you a lot of trouble.

Go for the most expensive one. The cheaper you get, the slower and much useless the fan/s will be.

There might be a faulty hardware in your Vaio which could be a factory damage. Since it is still under warranty, you can still use this advantage for Sony to fix it and to replace if possible.

I also have the same problem with my DVD drive.Other CD/DVD are working, but those that has a few scratches doesn't work and other new DVDs.. Should I replace my DVD drive?

I would suggest for you to contact support first since it states in the error message you received. That is the only way to fix it.

When you upgraded to Windows 7, did you let the OS find all the drivers for you? Like checking updates and then download those updates(driver installers), and then install? This is what you did? I also have my Vaio upgraded to Windows 7 and everything works fine until today.

I am also into photography and been using a Vaio Z laptop. I have tried Photoshop and it works great, though I haven't tried it with Premiere Pro. As far as I can say, I think it will work just fine. I will try it later.

I haven't also seen it possible. Some say your USB should become bootable which others do something to it which I don't know, some say otherwise. I don't know what is real.

Windows 7 has a feature where you can download and install the drivers automatically by checking on updates right after you did a fresh install of the Windows 7 OS. Check that out.

Have it replaced if you just bought it and have it checked by a technical person. This is definitely a keyboard problem.

Try scanning your system for the graphic driver available in your Vaio. Once you have its brand name and model, simply search it online. Download it and install.

Sony Vaio has an option where you can restore it to factory state. Search the word "recover" via Windows search bar.

With regards to your fan, I suggest for you to clean it.

Since you are in Windows 7, you can check for updates where you might find the driver for your built-in webcam. Windows 7 has this feature.

If you have a different cable that can be used to connect your Walkman and PC, then use it for the meantime. This is what I usually do and it absolutely works until I buy a new connector.

You might be able to see a few different folders and was trying to open the folder different to what you are looking for. Check this out and see what folders uses by default.

Have you tried searching for it via Windows search box? I think other Vaio Care can be accessed via system start up. I just couldn't remember how.

Restore your Vaio to its factory state. Use the Vaio Care for that.

Main lesson I get from upgrading is that it would be best to read more about the new update before adding it to your system, which sometimes not necessary for your own needs.
