Help, my sony s tablet will NOT boot up!

I had my tablet on, by mains power connection and i noticed it had powered off. So I try to boot it, it starts on the cradle Sony screen followed by squiggling lines then it powered off. Now, on the cradle, in to boot to sony and then power off!

please help, it will not boot at all from battery.

OK, there is something up with the cradle connections, the battery went flat, so its powering staright from mains now, charge battery check cradle out after....issue resolved atm

Bravia 32" (1 Year old or less) & PS3

This new 32" Bravia does not have the old XMB, its a new menu system. I plug my PS3 into my LED 40" bravia and a temp bar tells me what resolution the pic or game will run in. I gave my son a PS3 and he turns on the PS3 and this new style Bravia pops up a temp bar across the top saying '1080p 12 bit' on every game even if its onb;y 720p game....what settings on the TV need to be adjusted as the new menu is a little confusing and the old XMB was ace but what does this mean?????

I cannot get this app to work on my S tablet, weven though the google play says its compatible and released for android etc, I just a a blank screen and notice saying it doesnt work on this device? This is very strange as the Playstation app works fine, and the release for android for the my xbox live is meant to comptaible for S tablet BUT it doesnt work, it creates icons for me etc but it will not work, what is the problem?

The Formware I have on my TV is PKG4,110EUL-0108 now looking at the update page the latest update is PKG4 108EU-0108, now I am confused as the update page looks like the update is below to current firmware on my TV?

What is the current firmware for my TV? is what I already got?

The Title of the thread DOES SAY DUALSHOCK (DS3) Controller hence the DS3 (Dual Shock 3) which is an upgrade from the Sixaxix controller......

You do not download the sixaxix app...its in th 3.2.1.R2 update by sony, just connect the sixaxix or DualShock 3 (DS3) controller and it pairs autmatically, so you can play your PS1 games on the tablet that you can buy or get freebies from the PS Store which you download......Only Playstation games work with it....

(Here come the I cant play Angry Birds with DS3 PS3 controller!)

ok can you stick to the tablet instead of advertising that online gaming service when we got Ps3/Tablets etc so why do I want that online gaming platform?

If you wanna play PS3 games buy a PS3 and keep physical copy of games......no streaming games!

Really it is up to you...I rather have dedicated machine....

Thanks and many thanks for that, I thought the update was just skype, but I connected my DS3 PS3 controller and Voila! The tablet recognised it, paired it and I can play games wirelessly now too, so much easier playing PS1 games with DS3..thanks, I was waiting for the 3.2.2 update, LOL

Thanks, I since read that the update is rolling out in Japan and Canada etc...so give it a couple days and see if it comes here...UK.

Noting else works, honestly, nothing....I cant be bothered anymore spending hours trying to pair the thing with 3rd party apps that say they work but dont....

Or I am doing it wrong...but an official update would be more approipate....

I cannot get this to work, it doesnt work, its a con......unless someone has instructions or Sony can provide instructions I would like to know why I cant connect a DS3 controller PS3 to my tablet.....the six pair app will not open...I wasted money on the sixaxis controller app...I am wasting time trying to connect...INSTRUCTIONs would be helpful....

The compatibilty checker says its ok, the S Tablet, so I bought the Dancing Pixel app, but I cannot pair the controller via USB as the six pair tool will not open when I have downloaded it, so PAIR on the app is not useable.......yes i have the latest updates. 3.2.1, doesnt say rev2, how do I get it? I have just had updates for Sixaxix compatibilty checker which now adds a pairing function, so its 2am now so, I will tomorrow, see if i can pair the controller as I dont want to be up all night doing it.....

Anyone successfully using controller with PS1 games on S Tablet? How did you do it? And what does the PC do? its not connected to my tablet so I dont understand pairing it to PC for the Tablet, it doesnt make sense, and last thing it was not pairing via USB on the tablet.....

I have installed the Dancing pixel app as the compatibilty checker says it works now, I cannot get my PS3 game controller to connect to Sony S Tablet, it says download the six pair tool, I have but I cannot open the setup file so I cannot pair the controller to the Tablet...

Anyone successsful or how to?

Thanks for the help, There is comnpatibilty checker app to try first free before you buy the app, check it out, does bluetooth work on the tablets yet? I seen a video of a Logitech USB controler hooked up wired working the tablet, but this app method uses bluetooth, and I am confused as to what 'rooting' is meant here in this instance...TIA

You got the right app on the android marketplace, there is compatibilty checker app too. this is what is puzzling, the rooting of the device, I thought I had my Paired my PS3 controller with a PS3 it was rooted to that device. So I was wondering if I could unpair my PS3 from controller?

I hooked a DS3 controller via USB and it doesnt work! I thought You could play games with an external controller like the DS3? So I hooked it up and it doesnt work.....

How do I get an external Playstation controller (DS3) to work with games on the tablet?

The odd thing is..I bought a game, I went to wallet, it had my funds from my PSN account so I just bought a game that way BUT it doesnt show up on my PS3 download list so I can play it on my PS3/PSP too....like the games I have already bought like FFVII do not show up in downloads on the tablet...

Frustrating this controller thing is....how do I use a Playstastion controller externally to play games on the tablet...I thought this was a given fact to work?

I found all these news stories on the web on how the sony tablet supports this function now, so I went to android market and found the app, £1.07, BUT there is compatibility app to run first.....I have 4 PS3 Dualshock controllers all paired via bluetooth to PS3, the Android Market web news says its working now with that app but use the compatibility app first, but as I had all my controllers paired with PS3's I couldnt figure out how to un pair them so I run the compatibilty app and maybe buy the app that app lets me use the PS3 controllers. The drivers etc are obviously in the app but I can unpair my controllers from the PS3 so I cant get a proper test running.......I dunno but sony say its working now with that app........people say it works with that app....I cant figure out how to unpair bluetooth devices with PS3 to pair one with tablet and it says its paired with bluetooth, bluetooth is on the sony tablet but it doesnt work does it?

I put in a SDHC memory card today and the S tablet said file transfer my data, not format SDHC card, so I file transferred data. Now, How the hell do I manage or access the SDHC memory card? All I can do is file transfer.......I cant just access or mange the SDHC memory card in settings is internal USB storage only....so how do I manage the SDHC memory card?

eg. adding pics, reading files like PDF, or copying movies or music etc etc

Why does the PS Store say "Unavailable in your region"?

I got the PS store on my S tablet but the games for sale are PS1 classics NOT on PSN or the ones that I have bought already on PSN are not there, I would like to access the games I bought, I tried the download list and its empty on the tablet, I am hoping to play the PS1 games I already bought on PS Store?
