Sony Vaio VPCSB recovery media not working

Hi,

Quick description about the situation.

About 8 months ago I bought a Sony Vaio VPCSB1. I have made a set of recovery dvds on day one and installed a OCZ Vertex 3 SSD. I have installed the OS from the recovery media with no problems.

A week ago the SSD stopped working and after trying the SSD in several other setups with other computers, came to the conclusion the SSD was broken so I send it in for RMA to OCZ. I would like to mention that from the day the broken SSD was send in for repair, it only took 6 days for a brand new drive arrived at my doorstep yesterday so great service from OZC!

Yesterday evening I installed the new SSD in the Vaio with no problems, except the fact I could not get the recovery media to work. While booting the Vaio keeps telling met OS not found and cannot get into anything else than the BIOS. The SSD is displayed in the BIOS but thats it. Am I doing something wrong here? I`ve tried many key combos but nothing seem to work. The official Windows recovery disc (startup disc) is working but useless with the backup dvd`s..

Any help is much appreciated!!
